New Mexico Secretary of State office — contact, fees, and licensing

The New Mexico Secretary of State's Business Services Division registers all entity types, processes annual reports, and administers the Enterprise online filing system. All filings must go through the Enterprise portal — paper is not accepted. Walk-in service is limited to Monday through Thursday.

Filing fees

New Mexico's filing fees are set by statute (NMSA 1978 § 53-19-63 for limited liability companies and § 53-2-1 for corporations) and are collected through the Enterprise portal at the time of filing. A credit card convenience fee applies in addition to the filing fee shown below.

New Mexico LLCs are not required to file a periodic (annual) report or pay an annual report fee — the fees above are one-time filing fees. Fee amounts are set by NMSA 1978 §§ 53-19-63 (limited liability companies) and 53-2-1 (corporations).

Rejected filings require a new fee — payments are non-refundable regardless of the outcome. To confirm a specific fee before beginning a filing, call Business Services at 1-800-477-3632 or email Business.Services@sos.nm.gov.
