One component of Indiana's fees is publicly documented: Enhanced Access fees, set by the Secretary of State under IC 4-5-10-2 (effective July 1, 2025). These are charged in addition to statutory filing fees for online transactions. A regulatory analysis from the Indiana SOS stated that Indiana ranks among the 10% lowest-cost states nationally for business registration, with fees unchanged for over ten years.
