The Georgia Secretary of State's Corporations Division registers all business entities in Georgia and handles annual registrations, amendments, dissolutions, and trademark filings. The division's office is in Atlanta's Floyd West Tower building, in the same complex as several other Georgia state agencies.

Georgia's expedited processing fees are tiered by speed: two business days costs an additional $120; same-day processing (document must arrive by noon) adds $275; one-hour service (available 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on business days) adds $1,200. Online certificate of existence orders process immediately without an expedited fee.
